ElevenLabs Adds Direct AI Music Publishing to SoundCloud
On November 5, ElevenLabs introduced a way to send tracks made with its ElevenMusic service straight to SoundCloud, removing the need to download and upload them separately. Music published through the connection will carry a label identifying it as AI-generated, the companies said.
SoundCloud Artist Pro members will get three months of ElevenMusic Pro at no charge. The subscription allows users to create as many as 1,000 songs, separate tracks into stems up to 500 times, and use five custom styles or vocals each month.
ElevenLabs launched its first music-generation model in 2025 and released a consumer app in April 2026. It followed that with an updated model able to move between genres during a song and manage more complex vocals. The company said users have created more than 25 million tracks with its models.
SoundCloud has also connected with Moises, whose tools let users move music between the services for stem separation and remixing. Other integrations include Google Flow Music and Hook. SoundCloud chief executive Eliah Seton said the ElevenLabs partnership would help artists experiment, share their work and reach listeners.
Streaming services have taken varied approaches to AI music. Deezer is adding a setting to exclude AI tracks from listening, while Bandcamp prohibits AI-generated music. Spotify and YouTube have focused more cautiously on labeling. ElevenLabs also has a Spotify partnership for AI-generated audiobook narration.
