Chanel Brings Cruise Collection Runway to Sydney

Sydney’s Barangaroo hosted Chanel’s Australian runway presentation of its Cruise 2026/27 collection on Wednesday. The event brought together film and music stars, models and other prominent guests for a show that had first been presented in Biarritz, France, earlier in the year. This was Matthieu Blazy’s debut cruise-season collection as the fashion house’s designer.

Margot Robbie arrived in a white, semi-transparent Chanel slip dress with a fitted bodice, layered textures and a floral detail. She paired it with black satin heels, pearl-and-gemstone earrings and a metallic Chanel bag.

Nicole Kidman wore a cropped tuxedo jacket, black trousers and a white top, accessorising with round sunglasses and a small Chanel purse. Her daughter Faith, 15, wore a white cropped jacket and miniskirt set, while Kidman’s sister Antonia chose a black outfit with Chanel loafers and a quilted bag.

Kylie Minogue wore a cream cardigan and matching skirt, adding a black-and-gold chain belt and carrying a Chanel bag. Justin Hemmes attended with his partner, model Madeline Holtznagel, who wore a black, semi-sheer outfit with a Chanel skirt. The Sydney event presented the collection locally after its earlier French showing.
