Demi Moore Leads Starry CFDA Awards Red Carpet
The 45th annual CFDA Fashion Awards brought designers, actors and musicians to New York’s American Museum of Natural History on November 2. The ceremony, hosted by Keke Palmer, recognizes designers across categories including menswear, womenswear, accessories and emerging talent.
Moore wore a blue denim dress with a corset-inspired bodice and front buttons, paired with nude heels. Rose Byrne chose a black-and-white polka-dot gown, while Lupita Nyong’o wore a red crop top and matching skirt. Palmer arrived in a gold vintage Bob Mackie gown first made in 1975 for Raquel Welch.
Other arrivals included Allison Janney in a dramatic hot-pink Christian Siriano look and Vera Wang in a black bandeau top, long skirt and leather jacket. Hailey Bieber wore a metallic gold top with fur cuffs and a matching skirt. Matt Damon attended with his daughter Isabella, who wore a white fringe gown.
Several outfits drew mixed fashion assessments. Chloe Bailey’s sheer black Christian Siriano design, with feathered tulle details, was praised as a striking red-carpet look. Travis Scott wore a tailored black satin suit, while Emily Ratajkowski’s sweater, orange skirt and boots were judged more suited to a casual outing. Shaboozey’s layered Ralph Lauren outfit, including distressed jeans, was also criticized for not taking enough risks.
Pamela Anderson wore an ankle-length black Carolina Herrera dress with feather-fringe trim. Lili Reinhart chose a strapless nude sequin gown, and Nicky Hilton Rothschild wore a pastel mini dress with a long train.
