Heidi Klum Becomes a Walking Severed Hand for Halloween

On November 1, 2026, Heidi Klum arrived at her annual Halloween party in New York City dressed as a giant severed hand, complete with bloody details and long red nails. The event marked the 25th anniversary of her Halloween party, where she has become known for elaborate transformations.

Klum said the costume included replicas of her veins, hand tattoo and jewelry. She explained that the thumb ring she has worn for about 20 years, along with her engagement and wedding rings, was recreated for the look. Her husband, Tom Kaulitz, was away on tour and could not attend.

The design concealed Klum’s legs inside two of the hand’s fingers, while one arm fitted into the thumb. A member of her entourage helped her drink by using a syringe aimed into the costume’s open mouth. Her children Lou, Johan and Leni also joined her on the red carpet.

Klum later removed the costume’s outer layer, revealing another gruesome look with face prosthetics, a blonde wig and the oversized finger-like leg pieces. Her past Halloween transformations have included Medusa, E.T., a peacock, an alien, Princess Fiona and a worm.
