Law enforcement to beef up in Dallas entertainment district after shootings and nationwide violence

On November 2, federal and Dallas law enforcement officials announced increased patrols in Deep Ellum after three shootings early November 1 killed four people and injured 15. The federal-local response, called Operation Deep Cover, comes as investigators pursue leads in the shootings.
