Will Smith and Sheree Zampino Reunite in Australia

Smith and Zampino were together at Sydney airport on October 28, near the end of Smith’s trip to Australia. The actor had been there to film Supermax, an upcoming action movie described as a murder mystery set inside a high-security prison. Smith and Zampino were married from 1992 to 1995 and share a son, Trey.

The former couple have remained close as co-parents. Zampino has also developed a relationship with Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, and has praised her for treating Trey well and wanting the best for him. Pinkett Smith has said it took time for her to understand the lasting ties between Smith and Zampino after their divorce, and acknowledged that she sometimes crossed boundaries with Trey.

Pinkett Smith and Smith remain legally married, though she said in 2023 that they had been separated for years. She has also said the 2022 Oscars slap involving Smith and Chris Rock helped her realize she would not leave Smith. Zampino has expressed hope that Smith and Rock could reconcile publicly and extend forgiveness to each other.
