Jen Affleck Seeks to End Marriage to Zac Affleck

Jen Affleck filed for divorce from Zac Affleck on November 3, ending a marriage of seven years. The couple had been together for eight years. They have three children: Nora, 4, Luca, 3, and Penelope, 15 months. Jen announced in June that she is expecting their fourth child.

Their relationship struggles have featured on “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” and its “Orange County” spinoff. The couple moved to Southern California as they prepared for the new baby. In August, Jen described the preceding months as difficult and said they were dealing with personal issues privately.

Jen has also discussed experiencing prenatal depression during her first trimester, saying Zac took on more of the parenting while she struggled. She previously pushed back against speculation that their on-screen arguments meant they would divorce, and spoke about the strain of public criticism. In November 2025, she said viewers did not see the effort Zac put into their relationship. Jen’s representative had not responded to a request for comment at the time of the account of the filing.
