Two Killed in Harris County Crash; Driver Faces Manslaughter Counts

Two people lost their lives, while two others received hospital care, after vehicles collided by Jones Road and FM 1960 in northwest Harris County in the early hours of November 1. The crash involved two vehicles, and the hospitalized people were taken for medical treatment. Their conditions have not been released.

Harris County Precinct 4 deputies responded to the scene. Investigators said one vehicle struck another, killing two people. Authorities said the driver, a man, is charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter.

Crash investigators remained at the scene to examine how the collision happened and reconstruct events leading up to it. Authorities closed the roadway while emergency crews worked and advised drivers to avoid the area and use alternate routes. The identities of the people involved have not been released.
