Brooklyn Beckham Defends His Marriage in Anniversary Posts
Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz celebrated the anniversary of their relationship on October 29 with matching posts on Instagram. Beckham, 27, shared photographs of the couple, flowers and a handwritten letter, calling Peltz his closest companion and saying she was central to his life. Peltz, 31, posted a series of pictures and described Beckham as her best friend and everything to her.
Later, Beckham posted an image of Peltz and said he was devoted to her, adding that he welcomed the criticism and considered her perfect. Some commenters questioned the repeated declarations, including one who pointed to Beckham’s earlier criticism of his parents’ social media posts as performative.
The date marks the start of the couple’s romance. They first met at Coachella in 2017 and reconnected at a Halloween party in Los Angeles in 2019. They married in April 2022 and renewed their vows in August 2025.
The posts come amid a public rift between Beckham and his parents, David and Victoria Beckham. In January, he posted a lengthy statement about their estrangement and made accusations about his parents, including that his mother had taken over the first dance at his wedding. Brooklyn and Nicola have also been seen spending time with his godfather Elton John and John’s husband, David Furnish; Furnish thanked the couple for attending a birthday celebration in Venice.
