Skydance Names TV and Streaming Leaders, Confirms Seven Departures

Skydance’s new structure brings its direct-to-consumer and television operations under a leadership team overseen by JB Perrette, who holds co-chair and top business officer roles across both divisions. The company was formed this month in a $110 billion combination of Warner Bros. Discovery with Paramount, according to the supplied reports.

Among the appointments, Jeff Cusson will lead communications for Skydance DTC, Shauna Spenley will oversee marketing for global DTC and international TV, and Trey Turner will take on the international COO role. Josh Walker is set to head DTC operations, while Liz Wright will oversee finances for Skydance’s TV segment. Jay Askanasi, Ray Hopkins and David Decker had been named earlier to lead advertising, distribution and content sales, respectively.

Regional leaders include Andrew Georgiou, serving as interim president and managing director for Europe and Africa; James Gibbons for APAC and MENA; Kasia Kieli for Poland; and Fernando Medin for LATAM and U.S. Hispanic. Perrette also said a leader for Pluto and the company’s ad-supported video-on-demand operations would be named later.

The departing executives are Juan Sola, Pank Patel, Marco Nobili, Domenic DiMeglio, Jamie Cooke, Michael Bishara and Dan Barnes. Perrette thanked them for their contributions to the predecessor companies’ TV and streaming businesses.

Perrette said the structure is intended to connect local expertise with global operations and help the TV and streaming businesses work together. He cautioned that further changes may be needed as teams are aligned with the new organization.
