Druski Plays Elizabeth Holmes in SNL Documentary Parody
Druski made his hosting debut on Saturday Night Live in an episode published on November 8. In a sketch imagining Holmes and her husband, Billy Evans, seeking Druski’s help with a documentary, Jane Wickline played Holmes and Ben Marshall played Evans. The couple later turns to comedian Nathan Fielder in the real-life documentary that inspired the parody.
The sketch recreated moments including Holmes and Druski’s uneasy face-off and a scene in which Evans takes over beating eggs. When Holmes asks Druski to treat her as an ordinary person, he responds that she and Evans have an unusually strange energy. Their stare-down leads him to ask whether she is trying to sleep with him.
Later, Druski portrays Holmes himself, using the whiteface look featured in some of his past viral sketches. He and Wickline’s Holmes then face off, each insisting on being genuine.
Druski also appeared in the opening sketch, a Black-led news panel that joked about white politicians with Black names who won midterm elections. The episode marked the first time a digital content creator without a current film or television project hosted the show. The Strokes were the musical guest for the fifth time.
