Hamadeh Wins Reelection in Arizona’s 8th District
Hamadeh pulled ahead on Wednesday after Greene-Placentia led early on election night, and his advantage grew as votes were counted. The race was projected on the morning of November 6, 2026.

Greene-Placentia, a long-haul trucker, centered her campaign on safeguarding abortion access and bolstering Social Security and Medicare. She also said that in August, two men knocked her unconscious and sexually assaulted her while she was fixing campaign signs in Sun City. Hamadeh offered a reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
