Jaguars Rout Depleted Ravens 33-10

The Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the Baltimore Ravens 33-10 in Week 9, winning their fifth game in six outings. Baltimore was short-handed at quarterback: Lamar Jackson is on injured reserve, and Tyler Huntley is out for the season. Undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano made his first NFL start and led the Ravens’ offense to a touchdown only in the closing stages, with the outcome already out of reach.

Baltimore entered the game as a 10-point underdog. Jacoby Brissett is expected to join the team over the weekend, but the Ravens’ quarterback reinforcements come after a difficult loss. Fagnano’s first start was a rough one as Jacksonville controlled the contest.

The result strengthens Jacksonville’s position as a Super Bowl contender, while Baltimore faces questions about whether added help can change its prospects. The Jaguars, meanwhile, have continued to deliver as a heavy favorite.
