Jaguars overwhelm Ravens for fifth win in six games
The Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the Baltimore Ravens 33-10 in Baltimore on November 5, improving to 6-2 and winning five of their past six games. Trevor Lawrence completed passes for 242 yards and one touchdown, while Jacksonville built an early lead and largely avoided costly mistakes in rainy conditions. The win gives the Jaguars a 3½-game advantage in the AFC South.
Jacksonville went 77 yards on its opening possession, capped by Bhayshul Tuten’s one-yard touchdown run. Baltimore, starting rookie Joe Fagnano with Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley injured, answered with a field goal. Lawrence connected with Parker Washington for a 50-yard touchdown late in the second quarter, sending the Jaguars into halftime ahead 17-3.
The Ravens had a chance to respond after recovering a fumble in the third quarter, but turned the ball over on downs. Fagnano completed 10 of 18 passes for 60 yards and threw two interceptions in the second half. A Baltimore fumble on a kickoff return set up Chris Rodriguez Jr.’s two-yard touchdown run, making the score 33-3 with 7:26 remaining.
Justice Hill scored on a 65-yard run 11 seconds later, Baltimore’s first touchdown after halftime since Week 5. He finished with 85 rushing yards on nine carries, ending Jacksonville’s 24-game run without allowing a 75-yard rusher. The Ravens, now 4-5, have lost four in a row and are awaiting Jacoby Brissett, with both Jackson and Huntley on injured reserve. Baltimore also lost safety Kyle Hamilton to a hip injury and was without cornerback Nate Wiggins. Jacksonville visits Tennessee on November 15; Baltimore hosts the Chargers on November 16.
