Lakers List Mamukelashvili as Questionable for Trail Blazers Game

The Lakers added Mamukelashvili to their injury report on November 5, a day before they are scheduled to face the Trail Blazers at Crypto.com Arena. He is dealing with an illness and is questionable to play. Los Angeles enters the matchup on a three-game winning streak; Portland has won all but one of its games this season.

There was a positive update for the Lakers, too: forward Adou Thiero has been cleared to play after missing the start of the season because of knee swelling. The second-year player has yet to appear in a game this season, and it remains uncertain whether he will take the court against Portland.

Rookie Cameron Carr and guard Bronny James were sent to the Coachella Valley Lakers for the G League season opener. It was not stated whether Mamukelashvili’s illness would keep him out of the November 6 game.

Luka Doncic has helped drive the Lakers’ strong start. He is averaging 38.5 points, 8.1 rebounds, 8.0 assists and 1.8 steals per game, while shooting 49.5% from the field and 43.1% from three-point range. The Lakers will face Portland after suffering their first loss of the season earlier in the campaign.
