Cameron Carr Cleared Ahead of Lakers-Raptors Game

Cameron Carr is available to make his Los Angeles Lakers debut against the Toronto Raptors on November 1 after being removed from the team’s injury report. The rookie shooting guard missed the Lakers’ first six games while recovering from a strained right oblique.

Carr was selected 24th overall in the 2026 draft by the New York Knicks, then acquired by Los Angeles. He scored 19 points in his first preseason appearance for the Lakers, a win over Sacramento on October 5. At Baylor last season, he averaged 18.9 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists, shooting 49.4% from the field.

His return could help a Lakers bench that managed just seven points in Friday’s 112-95 loss to Golden State, while the Warriors’ reserves scored 50. Los Angeles had let a large lead slip away in the defeat.

Adou Thiero remains out while managing a left knee injury. Ziaire Williams, who has a left foot injury, is questionable for Sunday. The Lakers, now 4-2, are scheduled to face Toronto again on November 2 before playing Miami.
