Liam Fitzgerald Died From Injuries in Motorcycle Crash
Officials determined that fitness influencer Liam Fitzgerald died from blunt force injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash on October 30. His death was classified as an accident, according to a representative of the county medical examiner and trauma services department. The finding was disclosed on November 4.
Fitzgerald’s girlfriend, Jamie Lyn Rinaldi, had announced his death the day after the crash. She said he had suffered severe injuries and that efforts to save him were unsuccessful.
His family shared a tribute on November 1, remembering him for his energy, work ethic and devotion to those close to him. They said he inspired people around the world and sought to encourage others to recover from difficult periods in their lives.
The family also said Fitzgerald had struggled with alcohol at times and was aware it was harming him. They shared that information in hopes it might reach someone facing a similar challenge, urging people to seek support from loved ones.
Fitzgerald, who was based in Miami, had more than one million Instagram followers. He worked as a fitness and social media coach, sharing exercise, lifestyle, fashion and financial content. In April, he told followers he had bought his first home.
