Pulisic, Balogun and McKennie return to US roster

The United States will face Haiti over two legs on November 14 and 17, with the first match staged in Miami and the return game in Cincinnati. Haiti’s nominal home leg was moved from Port-au-Prince because of security concerns there.

Pulisic, Balogun and McKennie are back in the U.S. fold after the World Cup. The tournament ended for the Americans with a Round of 16 loss to Belgium. Balogun’s red-card suspension after the Round of 32 was overturned, while Pulisic’s tournament was affected by injury.

Pochettino’s 25-player squad includes many of the team’s established starters, among them Tyler Adams, Sergiño Dest, Antonee Robinson, Chris Richards, Auston Trusty and Malik Tillman. Goalkeeper Matt Freese, who started at the World Cup, is also included alongside Diego Kochen and Brian Schwake.

The roster also features young players Cavan Sullivan, Julian Hall, Adri Mehmeti and Mathis Albert. Reed Baker-Whiting and Santiago Castañeda are the only uncapped selections. Bryan Reynolds, whose most recent national-team appearance was in 2023, was called up at right back.

The Americans arrive after winning four friendlies in September and October, including matches against Mexico and Canada. They are favored against Haiti, but the Nations League has brought the U.S. setbacks before; the team finished fourth in 2025.
