Man Dies, Two Women Injured in Wilmington Shooting

Gunfire near 24th and Jessup streets in Wilmington, Delaware, killed a 27-year-old man and injured two women late on November 3. The gunfire was reported near 24th and Jessup streets, in the 2300 block of Jessup Street.

Officers found the man wounded and took him to a hospital, where he later died. Two other victims, women aged 21 and 31, were injured. Both were hospitalized in stable condition.

No arrests had been made, and the shooting remained under investigation. Police asked anyone with information to contact the Wilmington Police Department.

The incident took place at the same intersection where police fatally shot 19-year-old Kadir Skinner in June. An investigation into the use of force in that shooting is ongoing.
