Harry and Meghan Move to Another Home on Cotswolds Estate

Prince Harry and Meghan have moved into a different home on a wealthy friend’s estate in the Cotswolds, after staying in the main house there since their return to Britain in August. The move took place shortly before the family travelled abroad during their children’s school break, on a trip whose destination was not disclosed in the accounts of the move.

The friend is a businessman who lives in the area and became close to Harry through their shared support for military charities. He is said to be content for Harry, Meghan and their two children, Archie and Lilibet, to remain on the estate. The couple had been looking for a country home, reportedly with a budget of up to £10 million, but have now paused that search.

The Sussexes have kept their home in Montecito, California, and have not set out how long they intend to stay in Britain. Their move to the estate therefore does not establish where they will settle permanently. The family’s children attend a British private school, and Harry has previously said he wanted them to have the experience of schooling in the UK. The couple returned to Britain after six years in California; their current arrangement leaves open whether they will buy a home there later.
