Savannah Chrisley Defends Age Gap With Fiancé While Expecting First Child
Chrisley, 29, addressed criticism of the age difference between her and Jason during an episode of her “Unlocked” podcast released on October 27. She said the public response was one reason she had kept the relationship private, but added that she did not care about the backlash.
She described Jason as her best friend and the love of her life, saying they share dreams, work together and enjoy spending time with one another. Chrisley said she values their love and respect, and argued that the difference in their ages matters less than the quality of their relationship. She also said he does not look or behave as old as he is.
Chrisley recently announced that she is pregnant with the couple’s first child. In a social media post, she praised Jason for attending every doctor’s appointment and for supporting her during the pregnancy. The baby is due in January, and the couple expect to marry four months afterward.
She said their relationship began in 2025 and moved quickly. The two met while she was campaigning for her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, to be pardoned; they received pardons in May 2025. Chrisley said the timing of the relationship did not matter to her.
