Savannah Chrisley Celebrates Pregnancy Amid Scrutiny of Fiancé
Chrisley, 29, posted a sonogram image to her Instagram Stories on October 27, telling her unborn child that the baby was loved and would not be defined by other people’s opinions or anyone’s past. She described the pregnancy as a blessing and said she would not apologize for celebrating it.
Earlier that day, the “Chrisley Knows Best” alum announced on Instagram that she was engaged and would soon become a mother. She shared a video montage with her fiancé and referred to him as “J” without initially naming him. Galanis was later identified as her fiancé. Chrisley also posted a selfie with him and called him her “forever adventure partner.”
On her podcast, Chrisley acknowledged that the couple’s age difference had contributed to her keeping the relationship private. She said she did not care about the gap and described their connection as strong and fulfilling.
Galanis, 56, is 27 years older than Chrisley. In 2020, he received a prison term exceeding 14 years for participating in fraud schemes that included defrauding investors and a Native American tribe of tens of millions of dollars. His sentence was later commuted by President Donald Trump.
Galanis, who once worked with Hunter Biden, gave testimony from prison in March 2024 as part of a Republican-led investigation into allegations against former President Joe Biden. Chrisley’s pregnancy announcement and defense of her unborn child came as the couple’s relationship drew public scrutiny.
