Celina Man Sentenced to 75 Years in Child Exploitation Case

An investigation into Turner began in October 2025 after authorities received information from a nonprofit that tracks missing and exploited children, indicating he was accessing child abuse images. Investigators found that he had deleted material from his devices but recovered images and videos, including images showing toddlers being sexually abused.

A review of the devices also uncovered messages Turner had sent to minors through Kik, Session and Telegram. In some messages, he wrote about sexual behavior he wished to engage in with children as young as 3, authorities said.

The investigation also found that Turner had sex with a 14-year-old girl following an incident in which he gave her alcohol. Turner, a Celina resident, pleaded guilty on October 28 to possessing visual material depicting sexual assault.

A jury in Collin County imposed a 75-year prison sentence on him. District Attorney Greg Willis said Turner possessed images showing toddlers being sexually abused, contacted several minors by message and had sex with the 14-year-old after providing her alcohol. Willis said those who exploit children would be held accountable.

Reported by CBS Texas, FOX 4 Dallas-Fort Worth.
