Michigan-Michigan State Set for Peacock Night Game

Michigan will host Michigan State at 7:30 p.m. on November 7, with the rivalry matchup available on Peacock. The teams will play for the Paul Bunyan Trophy at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, continuing a run of four straight meetings under the lights.

The Wolverines head into the game at 5-3 after beating Rutgers 28-21 on October 31. Michigan State is 2-6 and is coming off a 28-10 loss to UCLA on October 24.

Michigan won last year’s matchup 31-20 in East Lansing, its fourth consecutive victory over the Spartans. The Wolverines can make it five straight wins in the series for the first time since a six-game streak from 2002 to 2007. Michigan also leads the Paul Bunyan Trophy series.

Michigan coach Kyle Whittingham is in his debut Big Ten season and will face the rivalry for the first time as the Wolverines’ coach. Michigan State coach Pat Fitzgerald previously led Northwestern and has faced Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Michigan’s next game after the rivalry is at Oregon on November 14. Michigan State will host Washington that day.
