Collin Gosselin’s Stepmom Praises His Memoir’s Bestseller Success
On October 31, Jon Gosselin’s wife, Stephanie Lebo, voiced support for her stepson Collin after his memoir remained at the top of The New York Times bestseller list for a second consecutive week. Lebo shared her message on Instagram on October 30, alongside photos that included Collin with a copy of the book.
In the post, Lebo said Collin had turned painful experiences into a book that could help other people. She also wrote that he was loved and supported by his family, and said she was proud of him.
Collin, 22, published his memoir about growing up with eight siblings amid a reality TV show on October 13. The book makes abuse allegations against his mother, Kate, who has strongly denied them. Collin’s Instagram post thanked supporters and said he intended to continue advocating for people who had experienced abuse.
Collin became known as a child on the TLC series Jon & Kate Plus 8, which followed his parents and their eight children. Jon and Kate separated in 2009. Collin and his mother have been estranged since 2016, when she sent him to a behavioral health institution at age 11, media accounts said.
Lebo, who married Jon in November 2025, also shared Collin’s message on her Instagram Stories, adding that she and his father were proud of him.
