Daytime Emmys Stream From Hollywood Palladium

The 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards are being held at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on October 30. For the second year in a row, the ceremony is available through the TV academy’s YouTube channel rather than traditional television. The red-carpet preshow begins at 4 p.m. Pacific time, followed by the awards at 5 p.m.

The Young and the Restless tops the nominations with 18, followed by Beyond the Gates with 15 and General Hospital with 13. The Kelly Clarkson Show has 10 nominations, in its final year.

Genie Francis, known for her role on General Hospital, is receiving the academy’s Lifetime Achievement honor. Gold Circle inductees include Byron Allen, Meredith Vieira, Patrika Darbo and Francesca James; Stephen Brown and Rubin Ervin are among this year’s Silver Circle inductees.

There is no host for the ceremony; Matthew Hoffman is serving as announcer. Awards span daytime drama, talk, entertainment news, culinary programming and other categories. The eligibility period for this year’s honors ran from January 1 through December 31, 2025.
