NYCHA says its removed asbestos found at Brooklyn’s Marcy Houses

On October 30, New York City officials said asbestos tests were negative at Brooklyn’s Marcy Houses after a steam leak spread residue on building walls. Heat and hot water were restored, and NYCHA continued cleanup and exterior testing.
