Woman Charged After Alleged Attack on Kentucky Football Player

Kayla Barrett was arrested on November 3 and charged with second-degree strangulation over an alleged attack on a Wayne County player during the team’s October 30 matchup with North Laurel High School. Police said the player, a minor, had difficulty breathing and was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
