Three Elderly People Found Dead in Mount Holly Home

Three elderly people were found dead inside a Mount Holly home on the afternoon of November 6, authorities said. The residence sits along Winding Way, close to the township line with Eastampton, New Jersey.

A postal worker contacted police after finding a note on the home’s door that indicated 911 should be called. Mount Holly Township police responded to the address.

Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw, together with Mount Holly Police Chief Clifford Spencer, said the deaths posed no threat to the public. The three people have not been identified; authorities said their names would be withheld until relatives could be notified.

The Burlington County Medical Examiner’s Office was set to conduct autopsies over the weekend. The prosecutor’s office and township police are investigating. Authorities have released no further details.
