Lamar Jackson Expected Back Against Bills
Jackson has missed Baltimore’s last three games after hurting his ankle in Week 4. The Ravens went 1-2 with Tyler Huntley starting and lost their most recent two games, against Cleveland and Cincinnati. Jackson took part in limited practices before the Week 7 loss to the Bengals but did not play.
He is now expected to be on the field against the Bills, with the Ravens anticipating he will be close to full health. The game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. ET. Baltimore enters the matchup with a 4-3 record, last in the AFC North, and will then face a short turnaround before hosting Jacksonville in a Week 9 Thursday night game.
In Week 8 fantasy quarterback rankings, Buffalo’s Josh Allen holds the top position after returning from a bye. New England’s Drake Maye is ranked second, with Jackson third as he is projected to return. The rankings favor Allen regardless of opponent and describe Maye as a strong starter against Miami.
Kansas City’s Patrick Mahomes has dropped out of the top 12 after the loss of receiver Rashee Rice. He faces Denver, whose defense is getting healthier, and Rice’s availability remains uncertain. The rankings recommend considering other quarterbacks with more favorable matchups.
