Troy Police Seek Five Men in Jewelry Robbery

Troy police are looking for five men after a woman said she was assaulted and robbed along the 1600 stretch of Jackson Drive during Halloween. The incident took place sometime between 1 p.m. and 6:18 p.m., police said.

The woman was walking in her subdivision when a car carrying five people approached and its occupants called her over. When she came close, one passenger grabbed her and kissed her on the face, police said.

The passenger then took hold of her wrist and placed a handful of jewelry into her palms. The woman did not realize until she returned home that her gold necklace and bracelet were missing.

Police said the stolen jewelry was worth about $20,000. They are seeking information about the five men connected to the incident.
