CMA Awards Announce First Performers for Nashville Ceremony

The Country Music Association and ABC have named eight performers for the 60th annual CMA Awards: Ella Langley, Tucker Wetmore, Miranda Lambert, Zach Top, Tim McGraw, Cody Johnson, The Red Clay Strays and Kacey Musgraves. More performers and presenters are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

With nine nominations, Langley is this year’s leading contender, including nods for entertainer, album and female vocalist of the year. Lambert has seven nominations, while Musgraves has five and Johnson has four. The Red Clay Strays will seek to retain the vocal group of the year honor they won last year.

McGraw’s performance will mark his recent entry into the Country Music Hall of Fame. His career includes 40 CMA nominations, including a current nomination for musical event of the year. The ceremony will also include a tribute to Dolly Parton.

Lainey Wilson will host for the third consecutive year. The awards show is scheduled to air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on ABC and Disney+ from 8 to 11 p.m. ET on November 18, with streaming on Hulu the following day.
