Dean Norris Faces Divorce and Restaurant Bankruptcy
Bridget Norris filed for divorce in Riverside County on February 14, 2025, citing irreconcilable differences and listing January 15, 2025, as the couple’s separation date. Dean Norris responded several months later. The divorce has not been finalized, and the couple have five children, including two minors, ages 17 and 16.
Bridget is seeking shared legal authority and physical care of the children and spousal support. She has also asked the court to determine the parties’ rights to property acquired during the marriage.
The divorce comes as the couple’s Swing Inn Cafe faces Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The Temecula restaurant’s filing lists assets of $147,809.58 and liabilities of $1,811,598.46. Chapter 11 allows a business to reorganize its debts while continuing to operate. Dean has also said the cafe’s gross revenue fell by $1 million between 2024 and 2025.
The cafe has continued promoting its business, including Thanksgiving meal preorders, and Dean was recently seen meeting customers there. The couple also operate the Norris Performing Arts Center in Murrieta, which offers performing arts classes for students ages 3 to 18. Dean, 63, gained wide recognition portraying Hank Schrader in Breaking Bad.
