Raiders’ Darien Porter Misses Practice With Groin Injury

Porter was absent from the start of the Raiders’ November 4 practice as he deals with a groin injury sustained on the opening play of Las Vegas’ 38-33 win over the New York Jets. He did not return to that game. The Raiders visit the 49ers on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium.

His availability for the matchup remains a question. If Porter cannot play, rookie cornerbacks Jermod McCoy and Hezekiah Masses are possible options in the rotation. McCoy was selected in the fourth round of this year’s draft, and Masses in the fifth.

Through Week 8, Porter had 19 tackles, 14 of them solo, and five passes broken up across six games. The 2025 third-round pick played in every game during his rookie season and started 10.

Defensive tackle Tonka Hemingway returned to practice after a stinger against New York, while receiver Cody White was absent from practice. The Raiders are preparing to face a 49ers team with a 6-1 record after ending their own four-game losing streak. Las Vegas is 4-4.
