AEW Blood and Guts Brings Two Cage Matches to Jacksonville

AEW’s Blood and Guts is scheduled for 8 p.m. Eastern on November 4 in Jacksonville, Florida. The event features two team matches inside the steel structure, with rivalries across the men’s and women’s divisions feeding into the bouts.

Will Ospreay teams with the Young Bucks, Darby Allin, Steven Borden and Adam Copeland against Wardlow, Jake Doyle, Kevin Knight, Mark Davis, Kazuchika Okada and Kyle Fletcher. Ospreay is set to face Fletcher at Full Gear for the AEW World Championship, while Copeland has made clear he wants to win that title before retiring in 2027. The Young Bucks also have a future tag-team title match with Davis and Doyle after losing an eliminator bout.

The women’s match pits Triangle of Madness, Divine Dominion and Persephone against Kris Statlander, the Brawling Birds, Willow Nightingale, Harley Cameron and TBS Champion Queen Aminata. Persephone is seeking revenge after losing the TBS title to Aminata the previous week. Aminata missed last year’s Blood and Guts match because of injury.

The event’s build has been criticized as loosely connected, particularly on the men’s side, where the opposing team is tied to several separate feuds. The women’s lineup has also been described as a grouping of leading faces against prominent heels. AEW’s next major pay-per-view, Revolution, is scheduled for the following week, adding to the company’s workload after it expanded its pay-per-view calendar with Redemption in July.

NXT was moved from Tuesday to Wednesday because of the midterm elections, putting it head-to-head with AEW Dynamite and Blood and Guts. The event will air on TBS and stream on HBO Max.
