TikTok Creator Marcel Johnson Dies at 32 After Cancer Fight
On November 3, news of Marcel Johnson’s death followed an announcement by his wife, Taylor, on Instagram. Johnson, 32, had been diagnosed with stomach cancer in August 2025 and shared updates about his illness online. Taylor said he died the previous day after a prolonged fight with the disease.
Taylor described Johnson as exhausted and in pain. She said that on the morning before his death, he told her and a family member he was ready to go, but continued holding on through the day. Her post included photos of the couple and their five sons.
Johnson had documented the effects of his illness and treatment, including losing 125 pounds and struggling to walk and dress himself. In September, he said he had stopped treatment after 25 chemotherapy sessions, saying he was too weak to continue. He also said hospice was contacting him and that he had no further treatment options.
A fundraising page created to support Johnson and his family has raised more than $350,000. It said the money would now go to Taylor and their five children. In August, Johnson had written that he lost his health insurance while receiving cancer care and that donations would help cover treatment and related costs.
