Harris County Deputy Charged in Prostitution Solicitation Case
A deputy constable assigned to Harris County Precinct 4 was taken into custody November 2 after an undercover operation in northeast Houston and charged with solicitation of prostitution, court records state. The deputy was identified as Davien Montgomery, 28.
Houston police said Montgomery was on Tidwell Road while officers were conducting an undercover operation. Court documents allege he asked an undercover officer for oral sex and agreed to pay $50. The two arranged to meet at a nearby motel, where police arrested him after he arrived.
Montgomery appeared before a magistrate on November 3. The magistrate found probable cause and sent the case to court. Asked whether he would need a court-appointed lawyer, Montgomery said he would not.
The charge is pending. A request for comment to the office of Mark Hermann had not received a response by November 3.
