David Geffen and Donovan Michaels Reunite on Superyacht

David Geffen and Donovan Michaels appeared to have rekindled their relationship during an October outing aboard Geffen’s 454-foot yacht, Rising Sun. Sources familiar with the pair described them as back together. Neither has publicly commented on the apparent reunion.

The outing followed a bitter separation and a lawsuit Michaels filed in Los Angeles Superior Court in July 2025. Michaels alleged that Geffen exploited and controlled him, and that he was expected to use cocaine, MDMA and cannabis with Geffen and his friends. The complaint also alleged Geffen subjected him to painful cosmetic procedures and that Michaels’s decision to seek treatment and sobriety strained their relationship.

Geffen denied the allegations, and his lawyer called the lawsuit “pathetic.” Michaels withdrew the case in October 2025, and in November the pair resolved it privately. Their divorce became official in April 2026.

The former couple had also been seen together aboard the yacht in June, when they appeared friendly. The October outing has renewed speculation that they may be giving the relationship another chance.
