Bears, Seahawks Reveal Week 8 Inactive Lists
Chicago will be without cornerback Malik Muhammad, who started four games and injured his toe against the Patriots. Linebacker D’Marco Jackson, listed as questionable with an ankle issue, is active. Running back Kyle Monangai is also inactive, leaving the Bears to rely on D’Andre Swift and Roschon Johnson, with Zavier Scott as their third back.
The Bears’ inactive list also includes quarterback Case Keenum, offensive lineman Jordan McFadden, and defensive linemen Jordan van den Berg and Jayden Loving. Keenum is the emergency quarterback. Van den Berg was a healthy scratch after Chicago added defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons, who is active for his first game with the team. Coach Ben Johnson indicated Simmons may have a limited workload.
Seattle’s inactives are Cross, running back Velus Jones Jr., linebacker Uchenna Nwosu, wide receiver Rashid Shaheed, quarterback Drew Lock, defensive tackle Brandon Pili and guard Beau Stephens. The Seahawks activated running back Jadarian Price from injured reserve before kickoff and also welcome back Zach Charbonnet, making his 2026 debut after recovering from a torn ACL. Seattle acquired guard Quenton Nelson in a trade during the week, and he is active. The game is being played Monday night.
