Percy Jackson Season 3 Trailer Sets Up Annabeth’s Rescue

The first full-length trailer for the third season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians points to a darker adventure, with Percy facing a growing threat from the Titans and a mission to bring Annabeth home. The season is based on Rick Riordan’s book The Titan’s Curse.

Annabeth is taken by Luke’s forces and brought to Atlas in California, where she is made to hold up the sky. Percy sets out to rescue her, joined by Grover and other questmates, while also confronting a prophecy and trying to prevent Olympus from falling.

The trailer introduces Nico and Bianca di Angelo, played by Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie, and offers first looks at Kate McKinnon portraying the goddess Aphrodite, alongside Ming-Na Wen in the role of Hera. It also features gods including Zeus, Hermes and Ares, and shows Talos, a giant bronze automaton.

Dafne Keen plays Artemis, with Saara Chaudry as Zoë Nightshade. Other newcomers include Holt McCallany portraying Atlas, David Costabile as Dr. Thorn, Jesse L. Martin as Frederick Chase, Jennifer Beals in the role of Demeter and Hubert Smielecki as Apollo. Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri return as Percy, Annabeth and Grover.

The season begins November 20 on Disney+, with two episodes released each week for four weeks.
