Seven Injured in Multi-Car Crash on 5 Freeway

The crash happened near Dodger Stadium at about 8:30 p.m. on November 1. Los Angeles firefighters reported seven patients after the collision, which involved at least five vehicles, and several southbound lanes were closed as crews responded.

One person was seriously injured and taken to a hospital, while six others had minor injuries, the fire department said. No one had to be freed from a vehicle. Paramedics were also seen evaluating several children at the scene.

California Highway Patrol officers assisted with the response. The lanes were reopened just before 10:30 p.m., after the investigation and cleanup. Officials have not yet determined what caused the crash.
