Early Voting Deadlines Near Across South Florida

South Florida voters have one more day to vote early in Monroe County, where voting is scheduled to end on October 31. The early-voting period in Broward and Miami-Dade counties runs through November 1.

Miami-Dade’s 28 early-voting precincts operate daily between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on October 30, October 31 and November 1. On Election Day, November 3, the county will open 767 precincts, also from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Election officials recommend that voters with mail-in ballots deliver them to a secure voting site rather than send them through the post office. In Miami-Dade, ballots must be received by 7 p.m. on November 3.

Miami-Dade voters may drop off ballots at the Elections Headquarters, 2700 Northwest 87th Avenue in Doral, or the Downtown Branch, 111 NW First St. The county’s elections supervisor, Alina Garcia, gave those locations and the deadline for ballot drop-offs.
