Craig Melvin Spills Ganache on Martha Stewart’s White Pants

The spill happened as Stewart showed the show’s anchors how to decorate a Halloween cheesecake with a chocolate spiderweb. Melvin, dressed as Snoop Dogg, reached for a piping bag and ganache leaked onto Stewart’s white pants. Stewart wore a white outfit inspired by the look she and Snoop wore at the 2024 Olympics; the show’s Halloween special also marked NBC’s 100th anniversary.

Stewart called out to Melvin as the chocolate landed, then joked that the real Snoop would not have made the mess. Melvin apologized, while co-host Carson Daly quipped that the pair’s friendship might help. The ganache also left a mark on Stewart’s white sneakers, which the camera showed during the segment.

Melvin later said he felt bad about ruining Stewart’s pants and put their price at $3,000. Stewart laughed and reassured him that they could be washed. She continued with the cheesecake demonstration, remarking on the chocolate’s messy consistency. The exchange stayed playful, and Stewart also said children visiting her farm for Halloween would receive candy and money.
