Florida Influencer Charged Over Recording of Clancy’s Father

October 30, 2026

Police say Christopher Clancy accidentally answered a call from an unfamiliar number while driving in Scituate, Massachusetts, on August 6. They allege the caller recorded him without his consent as he spoke about his eldest son, Brian. Christopher later recognized his voice in an Instagram post published on August 30.

The post was associated with an account called “saltylunatics.” Police say the account’s videos included a recording in which a man could be heard speaking, though the conversation was mostly unintelligible. In the video, Gramkow said Patrick Clancy’s phone number had been read aloud during Lindsay Clancy’s trial and that someone had called it.

Scituate police investigated the account and identified Gramkow, 46, of Sanford, Florida. A criminal complaint was filed against her on October 20, charging her with felony unlawful wiretapping. She is scheduled to be arraigned in Hingham on November 20. Gramkow said in a Facebook video that the allegations were false and easy to prove. Florida officials said she had not been arrested.

The charge comes as Patrick and Lindsay Clancy’s legal teams differ over whether Lindsay will testify in Patrick’s lawsuit against her healthcare providers. Patrick’s lawyer said he expected her to testify about whether she had warned providers of homicidal thoughts and fears for her children. Lindsay’s lawyer disputed that account, saying she had not expressed homicidal ideation toward her children and had not said she would testify.

Lindsay’s trial over the deaths of the couple’s three children ended in a mistrial on September 4 after jurors failed to reach a unanimous verdict. Prosecutors plan to retry her, and the two sides continue to contest whether that will proceed.
