Milwaukee Plans Parade for Brewers’ First World Series Title

The Brewers clinched the 2026 World Series on Wednesday by beating Tampa Bay 4-1 in the fifth game, earning the franchise its first championship. Milwaukee’s celebration is set for Friday, October 30, two days after the deciding game.

The free parade will begin at 10 a.m. at North 4th Street and West Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Milwaukee, then end at Henry Maier Festival Park. The city expects large crowds, and a sizable police presence is planned to manage traffic and the gathering.

The festival grounds will open at 8 a.m. for a championship rally, with live parade coverage on large screens, music, food and drinks, and merchandise. Brewers alumni are expected to attend. The first 50,000 rallygoers will receive a limited-edition championship towel.

Milwaukee Public Schools canceled classes for students and staff on Friday so they can attend the parade and celebration. Interest was already high: one fan waiting at 8 a.m. to get a rally ticket said 34,000 people were ahead of him.

Fans celebrated in the stands at Tropicana Field after the final out, while thousands more gathered in Milwaukee. Supporters have waited decades for the team’s first title, and Friday’s parade is expected to draw crowds along its downtown route and at the rally.
