LSU Tight End Trey’Dez Green Available Against Alabama

Trey’Dez Green is available for LSU’s pivotal home game against Alabama on November 7 after being listed as questionable because of a stomach bug. ESPN broadcaster Laura Rutledge said Green had been ill for several days but was ready to play. She also saw him practicing the day before the game and moving well.

The No. 14 Tigers enter the matchup against No. 5 Alabama with their College Football Playoff hopes at stake. A defeat would leave LSU with a third loss and three games remaining, putting its playoff chances under major pressure.

Green has caught 19 passes for 272 yards and two touchdowns in four games this season. A knee injury suffered in the loss to Ole Miss had sidelined him until LSU’s 38-17 win over Auburn on October 24.

His return gives LSU another option against Alabama and could help open opportunities for the Tigers’ receivers. Jackson Harris leads the team with 634 receiving yards and seven touchdowns on 36 catches. Winston Watkins Jr. has 37 receptions for 487 yards and two touchdowns.
