Gabby Thomas and Spencer McManes Wed in Rainy Cabo Ceremony

Gabby Thomas and Spencer McManes married on October 30 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in a beachfront ceremony at Garza Blanca Resort & Spa. Thomas, 29, walked down the aisle with both parents, and her grandfather officiated as the couple exchanged vows.

Rain had fallen for much of the day, and a storm soaked the reception setup shortly before the celebration was due to begin. The weather eased as the ceremony started, with a rainbow appearing behind Thomas at the altar. The reception moved indoors, where the couple and their guests danced and celebrated.

Thomas wore a custom lace gown by Galia Lahav, then changed into two more outfits, including a shorter dress with New Balance sneakers. McManes wore a white tuxedo jacket with black trousers.

In posts shared on November 5, Thomas said the couple let go of expectations and focused on being together. She described herself as grateful for the people who made the day special. The couple began dating in 2022; McManes proposed in March 2025 during a rooftop surprise in Austin, Texas.

Thomas later shared wedding images and video from the celebration, including scenes of the rain-soaked reception setup and the couple dancing indoors.
