Prime Video Sets November Premiere for Melania Docuseries

The trailer presents Melania Trump discussing media attention and her priorities as a wife, mother and first lady. The two episodes are built from additional footage filmed by director Brett Ratner as cameras followed her in the days after the inauguration in January.

The first episode, titled “Family & Trust,” follows Trump as she prepares to become first lady. Its description says she faces demands of the role while seeking to protect people close to her.

The second, “Pride & Honor,” focuses on her plans for the American people. A producer synopsis says she begins putting her mission into action shortly after the inauguration.

The docuseries follows the theatrical documentary “Melania,” which was also made from footage captured by Ratner. Amazon’s $75 million deal for the film included two additional episodes of footage, which were not part of the theatrical release and later streamed on Prime Video.

Amazon MGM Studios, along with Muse Films, New Element Media and RatPac Entertainment, produced the series. Trump and Marc Beckman are executive producers; Ratner directed and produced it with Fernando Sulichin.
