Police Seek Man Accused of Trying to Take Bronx Girl

The girl was walking close to the intersection of Bruckner Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue in Mott Haven at about 5 p.m. on November 3 when a man approached her and grabbed her wrist, police said. He allegedly tried to take her by force but did not succeed, and fled by running away. The girl suffered no injuries.

Police said the girl pinched the man, prompting him to flee. On November 6, the NYPD released photographs of the suspect and sought help identifying him. Images show a man wearing a dark beanie and jacket, jeans and a white crew-neck top. He seems to have a phone in hand and is seen smoking in one image.
