Sterling Heights weighs passenger rail link to Detroit

Sterling Heights is considering whether an existing freight rail corridor could carry passenger trains to downtown Detroit and connect residents with Detroit Metro Airport and other rail services. City officials say sections of the line are being removed, raising concern that the route could become harder to restore if the opportunity is delayed further.
